Rates and Fees
Racial Equity and Advocacy consultation rates set via exploratory conversations and agreements.
Rates for psychotherapy and clinical consultation = $150-$250.00 per hour.
Fee for initial intake appointments is $275-300.00;
pro-rated for time beyond the standard 55-minute hour.
Rates may vary if ongoing extended sessions are recommended
or if attended by friends, partners, chosen or other family members.
Fees for providing ongoing clinical/trauma supervision for
licensed and practicing therapists is $120-150.00 per hour.
Other charges will apply for professional, clinical or consultation services beyond or
outside of regular therapy appointments. (See notes below; rate sheet provided on request.)
Copays, deductibles and fees are due at the time of service;
payment may be made by check, cash, debit, credit or HSA cards.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged
at the full session rate unless otherwise arranged.
Special Circumstances
For specialized professional services provided outside of weekly appointment times--and not typically covered by insurance--it is my policy to charge $150-200.00 per hour depending on the specific services. Professional services may include evaluation or report writing at your request OR the behest of a third party, telephone conversations lasting longer than 10 minutes, consultations or coordination of care with other providers, attendance at meetings or consultations at your request or mandated by a third party, or time required to perform any other services you may request that are outside our regularly scheduled appointment times including lengthy email exchanges.
Charges differ if you are currently or anticipate becoming involved in a court case and may range from $200-$375.00 per hour.
In the event you are or may be involved in a court case of any kind, we must discuss the situation prior to entering into therapy.
Waiving your right to confidentiality creates the potential for legal, personal, professional, and/or therapeutic risks that must be fully considered in advance. If we have agreed in advance that I may be involved in your legal situation, you will be expected to pay in advance
for any professional time required even if another party compels me to testify.
